I just got a comment deleted and my account banned from noncredibledefense@shitjustworks (or however they parse that out). It was a shitty meme fantasizing about Japan getting to do more murdering in China, in the event of a war over Taiwan. I got called a tankie and banned for questioning whether Japan had any appetite for a war with China, and that I thought S Korea would be kept out of the conflict by the threat from N Korea.

Friends, I did not glorify communism, nor did I take any position on the disposition of Taiwan. Basically my sin seems to have been pointing out the "non-credibility" of the meme.

Anyway, I just didn't know where else to post about this (can't even message the mod that banned me!). I know hexbears shun that whole server, so I guess I'm really finding out why.

Noncredibledefense

They're the NATO bootlickers that were too bootlick-y for CredibleDefence, the original NATO bootlicking sub. I look forward to them turning into lemons as Western militaries take L after L in Ukraine and the Red Sea.

Woah. I did not know they were kicked out of another sub.

There was a time where "credible" defence used to hide its bootlicking behind a veneer of academic rigor. Of course, this was the type of academic rigor where a US study of Russian capabilities was considered more reliable than a Russian report on its capabilities because the Russians can't be trusted.

Iirc correctly people got banned for completely insane bootlicking like saying that a Leopard 2could solo the entire Russian Army or whatever and those ones went to found noncredible defense to shitpost.

Of course nowadays the Leopard stan is working at NATO advising the Ukrainian MOD, so the two subs are completely indistinguishable.
