I'm honestly astounded anyone outside of the US thinks about Ohio at all
Honestly it's probably 95% because Ohio has become a meme over the last few years

European here: We don't. No idea where most of that map is supposed to come from.
Different breed of European here: We do. No idea why but everyone i know seems to know basic ones + Ohio for some reason.
