Not well friend. I'm still drinking less, it's not totally dictating my life, but this breakup has been rough. Been with her since I was 19 and I'm 23 now. I relapsed on Friday, but plan on going to a group with my sobriety coach on Monday so that'll be good
Don't beat yourself up, relapse is nothing to be ashamed about, just part of the process. Wishing you well, and proud of you! Hope Monday is beneficial
Feel free to hit me up if you ever need!
What corgs said, just keep committing willpower to putting down the bottle and you'll steadily go longer periods without drinking until you reach your goal. You've already come so far from where you were and put in so much effort, so don't even think for one minute that any stumbles are anything other than speedbumps on your journey towards sobriety.
Just remember anytime you get knocked on your ass it's always okay to take a minute to sit there and process things before getting back up and trooping on.
I appreciate it a lot. Sometimes it feels like I'm going to be stuck like this forever, but it's really helpful remembering that this doesn't have to be forever. I really appreciate the support
you can do this.
