On Thursday, Musk reposted a chart that claims Europe is suffering from a “fertility crisis,” saying “civilization may end with a bang or with a whimper (in adult diapers).”
Late-stage capitalism really has this neo-feudalistic feel, where the Kings and Lords (Musk etc) have a bunch of concubines with bastard children who have claims to the throne or whatever. Fuckin weird timeline.
It's become trendy for the 1% to have 3+ kids again. Like rich women hit 35 and then have 4 kids over the next 8 years. Now that the average person can't afford kids, they've become a status symbol.
