Specifically I'm unable to change my keyboard input language when in the app, emojis don't always work, and there is no way to use hexbear emojis in app.

If there is an app or there that solves these issues I'm all for it

afaik the only way to do hexbear stickers is by inputting the colon code, which has to be known or looked up elsewhere, and then the stickers only display through hexbear ui and not for other ui

If you input the colon code in the Hexbear web UI it should automatically be replaced with an embedded image which is visible from all instances/apps. However, if you literally just include the text, then yes, it will only display on Hexbear. I think that's mostly a legacy feature, since without it all the pre-federation emotes (which worked by replacing the text in comments/posts with images) wouldn't display, so if you want to make sure that everyone can see your emotes try to used the modern embedded images when possible!
