Was it a huge tactical error to be honest with the
gubmint about my gender on a disability application? I just realised I have no idea if this will disadvantage me or whatever, or if it even matters. Like, are they gonna be fuckers?
I wouldn't know for sure but I'm inclined to assume that they might. I know it definitely depends on the particular gov worker since I've known both really decent ones and absolutely terrible ones. All my friends have talked about how hard it can be to get on disability even as just a cis woman so I'd assume it's shittier for trans people. Although it depends on the particular disability, and I know one nb person who is on it, so it's not impossible.
