i'm poor so i don't fuck with minis or anything that requires them, but i do watch some warhammer streams. theres one where they go through the popular recent kickstarters for minis, pick them randomly based on names, and try to avoid violating twitch TOS through sheer nerd horniness.
its surprisingly hard. even the sets with the most absurd fantasy monster names will also have an unlockable sexist objectification tier for some reason.
2nd/3rd edition Warhammer Dark Elves/Dark Eldar/Slannesh looks like a 17th century Quaker gathering by comparison with some of the Kickstarter sets.

yeah lmao 🥰 they're the source of 100% of my warhammer knowledge and it pisses off my nerd mates so much because i'll either be completely correct or unquestioningly reference a bullshit meme character Tem and Bon completely made up (crabnos, the brothers doomborn, kremlo(?), etc) because all of warhammer sounds equally dumb to me 
In fairness Kremlo is 100% real, as is Slambo. Warhammer is dumb (which is why it's sometimes good).

I always thought painting horny minis sounded weirdly relaxing (don’t ask my brain is weird). Is this a dunk on the idea of that or just the fact they’re sexualizing literal slavery?
I think it's possible to have artistic nudity that is classy or interesting, and it really requires good painting skill, but most is just blatant sexual nudity and objectification.

Yeah I’m not even going to remotely defend the weird random objectifying designs like this or woman with bikini armor number 267,000, but I imagine purposefully sexual sculptures have existed for ages because people are often just, y’know, horny. I guess I’m asking if the issue is sexual nudity and designs, or if the issue is their random inclusion and normalization as being the “average” of what minis of female characters look like?
Like I guess what I’m saying is that it doesn’t seem inherently problematic for people to make purposely sexual sculptures and paint them, but 1. I don’t want to come across as invalidating your complaints about tabletop gaming spaces, especially since 2. It’s treated as a “normalized”, sort of SFW-adjacent thing, when it should be tantamount to posting yiff on r/drawing
Tbf i don’t think it’s possible to find horny models without supporting shit like this so. Plus it would be awkward to have them around. Probably also a weird/objectifying desire/activity idk
