Ikr! But he volunteered! It was as shocking as it was magical. ๐Ÿคฉ

This is so kind, thank you very much!! โค๏ธ I would love to, but first I need to spend some time looking through all the resources suggested here so I can make wise use of whatever time you can spare for me.

re: OCD, some podcaster or YouTuber I was listening to who is diagnosed mentioned that theirs primarily presents as social obsession, and described many things I strongly related to (including having "hangxiety" for days after every social function, not just drunken ones), so I did some searching and read some firsthand stuff on Reddit, and yeah.

I wonder if this is another situation where I am doing something and I think everybody else does this too and just handles it better. Like, I know over-analyzing and extended processing are both autistic traits, but I am beginning to wonder if maybe mine is cranked up to 11 and everyone else is cruising around 5-7.

The hangxiety thing was just one part of it, there were other obsessive thought patterns I related to, physical symptoms I share, and some checking behaviors that I'm also doing. It was a lot to unpack, but I don't have time for that right now, so I stuffed that box in the corner. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Thank you for all of these details and suggestions! This was very helpful.

Trump didn't answer the questions they asked, so if you're in love with rules etc above everything else, I can see how you might think Biden "won."

It's not dementia, it's COVID-induced brain fog! ๐Ÿคฆ

I felt kinda bad for him for a sec when he reacted to them screaming "LIE!"

then I remembered he's not just some confused old man with dementia, he's war criminal Joe Biden

could you make your hair taste bad or be otherwise unappealing somehow? is there a particular scent/flavor that he hates but you like well enough to wear it in your hair for a few months?

I'm not looking for legal advice from strangers, I'm looking for a better understanding of the jargon so I am more able to do research on my own. But thank you for your concern ๐Ÿ˜Š

My husband and I have an LLC for our work doing small engine repair. Occasionally our son helps a little, but otherwise it's just us.

My husband has a close friend and former co-worker who is losing their job, and we are very busy and could use help, but we are deeply morally opposed to profiting from someone else's labor. I was thinking that perhaps we could subcontract stuff to her for a little bit, and if things are working out, then we figure out how to restructure the business.*

There is a restaurant in a nearby town that is worker-owned, but I haven't asked there for advice partly because their structure is byzantine, and idk if that comparison is apples-to-oranges because of the wildly different industries.

*I understand that sharing ownership means sharing control. I would have qualms about that with pretty much every person I know because most people aren't as obsessed with details and informed decision-making etc as I am; I am not concerned about that with this friend, because she has the same flavor of AuDHD as I do. I was undiagnosed when we met her, and our striking similarities in personalities and behaviors were a huge part of the reasons for seeking diagnosis.

Also, it's a rural area, everybody knows everybody, and she is someone with deep roots who is pretty universally loved and respected. There are few people I would trust to try to step into my life and fill in for me if I were seriously injured, but I know she would give everything as much or more care than I do. She is the best.

Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug
Make you wanna holler, "HI-DE-HO!"
Burns your tummy, don't ya know?
Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug

Grape wine in a mason jar
Homemade and brought to school
By a friend of mine, 'n' after class
Me and him and this other fool decide
That we'll drink up what's left
Chug-a-lug, so we helped ourself
First time for everything
My ears still ring

Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug
Make you wanna holler, "HI-DE-HO!"
Burns your tummy, don't ya know?
Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug

4-H and the FFA
On a field trip to the farm
Me 'n' a friend sneak off behind
This big old barn where we uncovered
A covered-up moonshine still
And we thought we'd drink our fill
And I swallered it with a smile
I run ten mile

Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug
Make you wanna holler, "HI-DE-HO!"
Burns your tummy, don't ya know?
Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug

Jukebox 'n' sawdust floor
Somethin' like I ain't never seen
And I'm just goin' on 15
But with the help of my finaglin'
Uncle I get snuck in
For my first taste of sin
I said, "Lemme have a big old sip!"
I done a double back flip

Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug
Make you wanna holler, "HI-DE-HO!"
Burns your tummy, don't ya know?
Chug-a-lug, chug-a-lug

Sorry for the bummer question!

saw something that mentioned this being an AMAB-thing, but it definitely happened to me as well, and it just made me wonder how unusual it was to be punished (physically or otherwise) for crying as a girl

you can just yes/no, you don't need to get into it unless you want to

(feel free to unload, probably I'm not the only person who will relate)

I found them (hexbear.net)

photo quality apologySorry for the potato picture, was getting an upload error that I think is related to file size, so I did a screenshot of a screenshot to halfass resize it.

I found these at Walmart yesterday. If I had known that my kid had been at Walmart earlier in the week with a friend and had seen these and chosen to not buy them because he thought they looked gross, I probably wouldn't have bought them, but I didn't, so I did! ๐Ÿ˜…

Curiosity got the better of me before anyone else, so I tried them first and then took samples around to my family.

our reviewI regret to inform you that they're actually pretty fuckin good. 9/10 Oreo flavor. Husband and Chult agreed.

husband's comparisonHusband says they taste like fruity pebbles in a cookie, and I think this is spot-on. If that sounds like something you'd enjoy, give this nutritional abomination a try.

dunkabilityI didn't realize the oat milk had turned, so idk yet how they are dunked - probably great, tbqh. I have to go to the pharmacy today anyway, so I'll grab some while I'm out and update anyone interested.

this is something I've been trying to understand for a while

What does it mean to "do your best"?

Are you legitimately always trying to do your best, or are you often titrating your effort based on your internal reserves?

What does "your best" mean to you?

56
maybe I'm enby? (hexbear.net)

autocorrect keeps wanting to make it "envy," which isn't entirely wrong

How did you figure out you were enby?

I've come to realize that my super-femme presentation is a form of masking, and I'm trying to figure out where I actually fall in the spectrum of gender.

So yeah, how did you figure out you weren't "gender" and were actually enby?

Does just thinking that maybe I'm not either mean that probably I'm not either? Is the state of being unsure and kinda in-between where you identify or what?
