hell yeah. i started hanging around the local bike shop several years ago. at first i was building a bike using one of their community stands, and then they added some drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and now they host an in-shop event every thursday (trivia, special guests, costume contests, etc). it's one of my favorite things about this lil' city.

interesting to consider that third places can be virtual in this day and age. i wonder how they compare in terms of healthiness... probably better than not having a third place but worse than an in person one, if i had to guess
