"It took me and two other people half an hour to get into this suit ....... my left sock came loose and is wrapped around my toes ..... and now I have to pee"

Also it's humid inside and the fabric is sticking to my skin and the mask is foggy.

"And I had to do all this just to say that the environment is fucked."

That episode messed me up, the gloves and body suit with no human skin visible. Just pain.

[–] rockerface@lemm.ee 7 points 4 months ago (1 children)

The most messed up part for me was the nurse casually turning his soundboard volume down and going "see, all better now"

I think that’s the first time we’ve ever seen the actual cyber man conversion process, they tell us it’s an upgrade but it’s…pain pain pain.

Then again if I could swap this meat bag for a cyber…why not

[–] rockerface@lemm.ee 3 points 4 months ago (1 children)

If I could swap my body for a cyber upgrade, the point for me would be to take away the pain. If I'm constantly in pain, count me out

[–] FordBeeblebrox@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago

Fair, but it’s only the medical patients complaining during. The finished Cybermen are all about assimilation so maybe there’s something to it

That reminds me of a job I did where it had been cold and rainy all day. My manager said they couldn't use a bunch of photos we took with me in them for the report because I looked too miserable.
