I don't see any clowns in the pictures. That would also make them... comic sans.

I'm enjoying this but is it really a science meme?

A lot of what I do forms the base for this stuff. I've dabbled. It's super fun. You have consider a whole lot of geoscience. There's lots of info out there on this, keyword: "digital archaeology."

I get really geeked out about this stuff. 😅

Backing up your memes with scientific articles, that's why you're the boss!

Science is a method... I use Geomatics/GIS all the time in the sciences. This is heavy modelling work, a lot more goes into these than you think. They're really fascinating.

Don't you mean Times Ancient Roman?

Olden Times, Roman

[–] Jolteon@lemmy.zip 1 points 3 months ago

Times Old Roman already exists, but it's just a colloquialism for using Times New Roman to type in Old English

My lord! I can see the changes take place right in font of my eyes!

[–] snooggums@midwest.social 8 points 3 months ago

There's a difference that I just can't put into words.

[–] theonyltruemupf@feddit.de 7 points 3 months ago (1 children)

That's funny and all but why isn't there an RPG game set in a full-scale ancient Rome?

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 7 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

Because that would require ridiculously large computer monitors. Much larger than current technology permits.

[–] qjkxbmwvz@startrek.website 4 points 3 months ago

Computer Modern or GTFO.

[–] rimjob_rainer@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 3 months ago

It's crazy to think they already had ancient drones to take these pictures.
