I don't see any clowns in the pictures. That would also make them... comic sans.

I'm enjoying this but is it really a science meme?

A lot of what I do forms the base for this stuff. I've dabbled. It's super fun. You have consider a whole lot of geoscience. There's lots of info out there on this, keyword: "digital archaeology."

I get really geeked out about this stuff. 😅

Backing up your memes with scientific articles, that's why you're the boss!

Science is a method... I use Geomatics/GIS all the time in the sciences. This is heavy modelling work, a lot more goes into these than you think. They're really fascinating.

Don't you mean Times Ancient Roman?

Olden Times, Roman

[–] Jolteon@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 year ago

Times Old Roman already exists, but it's just a colloquialism for using Times New Roman to type in Old English

My lord! I can see the changes take place right in font of my eyes!

[–] snooggums@midwest.social 8 points 1 year ago

There's a difference that I just can't put into words.

That's funny and all but why isn't there an RPG game set in a full-scale ancient Rome?

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Because that would require ridiculously large computer monitors. Much larger than current technology permits.

Computer Modern or GTFO.

It's crazy to think they already had ancient drones to take these pictures.
