Letting the stardate incrementally increase, observing the spacetime holding me down
Letting the stardate incrementally increase, temporal anomalies flowing all around
Into another strange new world, after the mission's done
Once in an episode, evil twins all around

Ah, I love the Vocally Communicating Thought Generators.

"You are currently situated amongst the thick foliage of an M-class planet. Presently, it is the nocturnal phase of that region. Therefore, your visibility is severely limited."

Allowing the rotational periods of the planet to continue and liquid dihydrogen monooxide to immobilize me. Allowing the rotational periods of the planet to continue and liquid dihydrogen monoxide traversing subterranean layers. Into the azure colored atmosphere once more, when the currency has been expended. A single moment in the years that consist of a lifespan and liquid dihydrogen monooxide traversing subterranean layers.

And you may tell yourself, "This is not my aesthetically pleasing residence!"

And you may tell yourself, "This is not my aesthetically pleasing Bynar spouse!"

“I observe as the Earth rotates!”

“I allow dihydrogen monoxide to suppress my being”

[-] chaogomu@kbin.social 2 points 9 months ago

The IUPAC-compliant nomenclature for that liquid substance is oxidane, although care must still be used, as oxidane refers to the specific molecule in all temperature ranges and matter configurations.

Letting the stardates roll by, empty space flowing under-hull

[-] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 5 points 9 months ago

Into the black again, after the latinum's gone.

[-] Mordachai_Shedbacon@lemm.ee 1 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago)

Once on a continuing mission, timespace flowing under-hull

It's Data's take on Talking Head's Once in a Lifetime.

[-] TeaHands@lemmy.world 19 points 9 months ago

I found the person younger than my age on the internet.

[-] Xariphon@kbin.social 3 points 9 months ago

I doubt that more and more every year. I'm not young, just clueless about a lot of media.

[-] samus12345@lemmy.world 9 points 9 months ago

Identical in nature throughout existence

[-] wizardbeard@lemmy.dbzer0.com 6 points 9 months ago

Existence proceeds as history would suggest. Existence proceeds as history would suggest. Existence proceeds as history would suggest. Existence proceeds as history would suggest.

[-] Uniquitous@lemmy.one 5 points 9 months ago

Dihydrogen monoxide is in motion beneath the surface.

Once in a lifetime...which, due to the positronic composition of my neural net, equates to roughly once every ten thousand Earth years.

Picard: "Mr. Data, I'm asking you quite strenuously to uninstall the David Byrne voice module immediately."

Data: "Please exercise caution; one may attain their desires unexpectedly. Individuals of moderate age, peculiar but not unfamiliar. I am a standard android, in the process of generating heat within this habitation."

Riker: "Geordi, switch him off, now!"

Data: "This is not my beautiful shutdown sequence. This is not my beautiful disconnection process."
