Trump didn't get shot because nothing ever happens.

The news media will forget about this in a month because nothing ever happens.

If will have a 2% effect on polls for a week before polls go back to being totally up in the air because nothing ever happens.

If Trump wins his second term will suck about as much as his first because nothing ever happens.

If Biden wins his second term will suck about as much as his first because nothing ever happens.

You will continue to live a life about as mediocre as it currently is, probably slowly getting slightly worse, till you die, because nothing ever happens.

There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where nothing happens, because nothing ever happens.
