I don't know much about it. I know that during the Chinese cultural revolution the tibetan culture was pretty much fucking obliterated but I don't know much beyond that. I recently saw an article talking about modern China's treatment of tibet and could identify a lot of very misleading language that treated seemingly normal things as dystopian as usual but I'd really like to know this history here as well as what is actually happening in tibet right now. Can anyone point me towards resources that may have information on this?

There's Friendly Feudalism by Parenti. Read it a while ago and it seemed like a pretty good introduction to the whole topic. Reasonably short too

I remember when it was a huge trend among American libs to vocally support the Free Tibet movement under the assumption that they were saving helpless pacifists from the warmongering CCP. Turns out it was actually a feudal slave state that was being liberated by China.

The "Tibetan culture" that China destroyed mostly consisted of monks mutilating peasants

Also about the same amount of CSA as the Catholic church

Here is an account by the first western journalist to visit Tibet after the serfs rose up against the ruling priest class. It's a good place to start educating yourself.
