I never go on Twitter anymore because it's 99% Nazi bots and the other 1% act like the bots but are probably people... probably... (good job Elon btw. Also good job FTC just letting that continue...)
The amount of actual, real antisemitic remarks in the comments is disturbing. Of course I realize it's cynical Nazis doing what they do, I realize that, but 4chan leaking to the "normie" internet is... probably not good.
6K upvotes on a Nazi saying "the main cause of antisemitism is semitism." Someone yelling at them... because they missed the (Nazi) "joke" and thought the tweeter was calling the guy in the clip antisemitic. They focused on that, but not the "the main cause of antisemitism is 'The Jews!'" statement. They didn't say the true statement which would be "the main cause of antisemitism is Zionism". They said semitism which just means Jews in this case.
Their reply to being called out in a stupid way for the wrong reason was "free Palestine." Great. An open Nazi and/or incredibly fucking dumb person pretending to be pro-Palestinian.
I wouldn't give a shit except NYT or ADL (the latter might be running the bots...) will mark this down as an antisemitism done by pro-Palestinian people even though the rhetoric, blaming Jews for the existence of people who wish to kill all Jews, has absolutely nothing to do with a pro Palestine movement or anything like that.
It's a shitty thing because although I know, we all know, that this person is cynical, a Nazi, or a bot and that the ADL is a bullshit organization that is (ironically) very racist and antisemitic itself (equating Israel with Judaism being a large one which they do literally no stop), normal people don't know this. They don't know what the ADL is or it's history but it's name means something good, so...
