The devs are doing some damage control in the comments. But to be fair, they very clearly say that you won't be paid, so you can't say you have been led astray by dubious marketing.

Linux bros will absolutely support your stuff just for the sake of it, but we are not going to attend all of your events you don't have time for while you're being paid and we're not. You think a dev/community manager isn't worth paying, but the people who assemble things are? Way to devalue your core audience I.e. the people who value the principles your selling.

??? I've been hibernating my Framework as my primary method of shutting it down and it doesn't seem to use any power during hibernation at all
