Unfortunately, Kamala's Threads account isn't federated yet, so it's only viewable from Threads.

I wonder if they'll enable federation for hers like they have with Joe's. Or maybe not, since she's gonna inherit his account soon enough, anyway.

I didn't know that Threads can be federated by account.

I think because they're still in the (very slow) process of integrating their federation. It's currently one-sided, so Fedi users can see and interact with Threads posts, but Threads users won't see any of that from their side. It's more like rebroadcasting at the moment, which is annoying.

But while they're testing it, a few Meta engineers and other high-profile accounts like @POTUS@threads.net are being manually entered into their federation test.
