Some of these are new. Really surprised there isn't one of him with his fist in the air after the shooting.

A continuation of my sticker collecting.

Do people ever give you shit as you take them off?

Not yet. I tend to try and do it when there's not a crowd to avoid confrontation, as I am in a heavy red area. But, while I'd no longer consider myself swoletariat, I'm still a reasonable large guy. So, ymmv. I did do one in front of a sheriff deputy a couple weeks ago and he gave me a weird look but didn't say anything.

If I had the balls you have, I'd go around setting war rig flags on fire or something. Also in deep red area.

Lol, I'm a middle aged white guy peeling stickers at 8am in the suburbs. It's not that ballsy. The biggest risk was probably when I stole the America First campaign sign last month.

Quadcopters would probably make burning war rig flags way more safer though. Also, lasers.๐Ÿ’

Asking for a friend but how can one use a laser to catch a war rig flag on fire?

[โ€“] JoeByeThen@hexbear.net 19 points 3 months ago (2 children)

Uh, that would be incredibly irresponsible for me to tell you that. Instead have this safety tip.

I'll pass this along but my friend is probably gonna tell me that 10w laser diodes on amazon are a bit expensive. I heard he is really into laser engraving though.

Gotta watch out for them on eBay too. The dangers are everywhere!

[โ€“] roux@hexbear.net 8 points 3 months ago

Will definitely keep my eye out so I can actively avoid getting one on the cheap.

Take my word; there is actually a few ways to figure out if a laser was used.

More than likely, depending on the habits/state of the scene it will be blamed on a refraction like I've seen with "crystal orbs". This is thrown out the window (pun intended) if the nearby window is shaded or the direction it is facing is away from the sun/possible points that could refract.

"Trump Train? Meaning, he will build trains?"
"No, not like that"

Oh yeah, good thinking using a scraper. Most likely they will put razor blades under those stickers.

[โ€“] Alaskaball@hexbear.net 16 points 3 months ago

Has anyone actually encountered booby trapped stickers or shit? I haven't seen anything in my travels across the u.s.

[โ€“] JoeByeThen@hexbear.net 13 points 3 months ago

Yeah, the thought crosses my mind, but I don't think they're at that level. Still haven't ruled out that it's not just some kid from a local neighborhood.

07 thanks for reminding me to grab a paint scraper before going out today. TYFYS

You should save all of them and male a ppb collage

[โ€“] JoeByeThen@hexbear.net 11 points 3 months ago

That'd be awesome but I don't know that I have the skills for something like that.

[โ€“] JoeByeThen@hexbear.net 7 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Lol the issue is my niece seeing it and thinking Trump is good.

[โ€“] RedWizard@hexbear.net 7 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Call it the wall of shame!

[โ€“] quarrk@hexbear.net 6 points 3 months ago

these artist impressions of Trump are doing a lot of heavy lifting to make him seem cool
