Yes.

Don’t like it? Leave Ukraine.

[–] Harold_Penisman@lemmy.world 75 points 3 months ago

They’re only attacking Russia in the interest of defending their country. Russia could easily make this all stop.

[–] Empricorn@feddit.nl 61 points 3 months ago

Look at the time. Whatever time it is of whatever day that you read this, Putin could stop this. Ukraine doesn't want to take over Russia! They want security. They want their country back. Putin could end this war at any moment, as soon as they abandon their illegal international invasion of Ukraine...

Fuck off putin

Oh shit did we accidentally send billions of dollars of aid and military hardware to Ukraine again?

[–] YeetPics@mander.xyz 7 points 3 months ago

Third time this year! Hate when that happens.

[–] peopleproblems@lemmy.world 36 points 3 months ago

Well considering all the red lines that have been crossed you vowed annihilation to, and didn't, I think we can all safely say the Kremlin is just full of hot air

While the Ukrainian attack has revealed weaknesses in Russian defences and changed the public narrative of the conflict, Russian officials said Ukraine's "terrorist invasion" would not change the course of the war.

The tone in official Russian statements the last 2-3 weeks tells us something completely different.

Shit ain't fun no more when it shows that Ukraine were able to choose allies that are better than China, India and Iran, right?

Things might still end badly for Ukraine but they will not end up selling themselves cheap. Even if Russia were able to gain full control over Ukraine, the cost of keeping the control is way too high compared to what Russia can afford.

Putin tried to make history but it'll be Zelensky and the Ukrainian people who will be celebrated when this is all done. Putin is looking likely to be the face of the fall of the second Soviet Union (members: 1)

Putin will always be in the history books as the only one that has united so many European countries...

Putin accuses the West of doing something the West is openly doing complete with detailed press releases.

Get rekt.

[–] doodledup@lemmy.world 10 points 3 months ago

It's not wasted. It's an investment.

[–] rustyfish@lemmy.world 28 points 3 months ago

Sure. And we laugh about it a lot. What are you gonna do about it?

[–] BenLeMan@lemmy.world 20 points 3 months ago (1 children)

But if the help had come from North Korea or China, Vlad would have been fine with it.

[–] remotelove@lemmy.ca 8 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) (1 children)

He is fine with the aid he received, anyway.

Honestly, the North Korean artillery shells Russia has received prematurely wear out their barrels and have a higher chance of blowing up in those barrels. Given that Russian tank and artillery barrels are notoriously bad quality, the artillery men are probably at a higher risk of dying than their targets.

[–] Plopp@lemmy.world 4 points 3 months ago

the artillery men are probably at a higher risk of dying than their targets.

I (unfortunately) think that is very much wishful thinking.

[–] JustZ@lemmy.world 16 points 3 months ago

Why yes, yes we did.

[–] Vikthor@lemmy.world 13 points 3 months ago

Yes. Yes, we did. And what are you going to do, khuylo yebanyy?

[–] ATDA@lemmy.world 10 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

It's up to putins cook now. He can just add some of the good stuff 😜. Like lots of sleeping pills in the coffee, then direct injection of whatever you can find mixed with pee. Easy. Or a hammer to the legs and then to the head. See the reason you go for putins legs first is so that it hurts.

kemlin accuses others helping the shooting of the target they placed on their own back when they invaded another nation.
