I have zero interest in playing this but it's visually stunning. I can't think of another game with this combination of graphic fidelity and smooth complex animation.

MODERATORS
The last game that comes to mind is Baldur's Gate 3, which had very good animations and highly detailed characters.
But I think this game might go above and beyond that. Not my type of game, but it looks very good.
Don't get me wrong I adore BG3 and it is absolutely stunning, but I don't know if we can compare a heavily curated experience like that to something like this which allows for such a high degree of customization and player created content. It will be interesting to see if the final product actually looks like this. You can damn well guarantee all of those customization options will be locked behind micro transactions though.

There are gameplay videos from external YouTubers already, the game holds up quite well
This is the one game I think might have a chance against The Sims if done right, here's hoping (that it isn't a cash grab).
This looks really cool. I hope they can pull this off since I'm really itching to play a sims-like again. It'll probably fry my PC but it's a risk I'm willing to take.
Edit: There's a free character studio available on Steam to play around with.
It looks extremely elaborate, but just like the Sims I just don't see the point. Not for me, I guess.
