This one's easy, quick, and has always done me justice.

Also, if you don't want to press tofu, you can get that really super firm kind of tofu that practically already has it done for you.

Sweet potato fries! Cut up some sweet potatoes into fries, (optional) toss in potato starch for crunch, toss in olive oil and some sort of fry seasoning, toss in the air fryer for 20 minutes

i will proceed to consume my body weight in fries

Stumble into the kitchen, drunk. Line the basket with tin foil. Dump in a bag of frozen tater tots. Press buttons until it starts to whir. Get distracted by dog fails on youtube. The smell of burning reminds you that you did something in the kitchen. Yank open the air fryer, wonder who stole your tin foil and question where all the plastic wrap came from. Eat around the burnt plastic.

Or quarter some brussel sprouts. Add salt, evoo, and toss. 400 for 6 minutes. Shake it up, splash more evoo, sprinkle more salt. Another round of 400 for 6 minutes. Goes well with feta crumbled right out of the air fryer.

You can use it instead of a toaster for stuff like bread, bagels. It also does roast veggies very well. I use it to crisp paneer sometimes to put into saag paneer. French fries. Reheating pizza. You can make a decent psuedo chimichanga without the oil as well.

my recipes are too strong for you

Potatoes want to be air fried, I think. I love golden tatoes cut into 1 inch chunks, tossed in oil and whatever herbs and spices feel right that day (rosemary has never let me down), rock that shit at 400F for 20 min, turn halfway thru

[–] comrade_pibb@hexbear.net 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)

rosemary and potatoes is a winning combo

It seems like they were supposed to be together, like garlic and ginger

Cauliflower “wings” cut florets, dip in batter, and air fry at 375, toss every 6 minutes until done.

First you steam your bao or mantou, then you cover it in a yummy oil and cook it at 400 for like 7-8 minutes for a nice golden bun.

air fry potato peels

  1. peel potatoes (either clean the potatoes before or clean the peels in water)
  2. cover in a lil bit of oil and add salt
  3. air fry at high temperature for 6 mins, shaking the peels around and adding more oil halfway through
  4. add other toppings (eg. salt and pepper, powdered sugar and honey)

eat optionally with garlic mayonnaise

air frying yams whole is really tasty, the sugars get caramelized and the skin comes off easily. Try finding small long thin yams, since they will cook quicker
