So long as it's possible to ban the bot so I don't see the spam, sure.
Lemmy has a toggle in the settings to hide all bot accounts. If you don't like bots, you should turn it on!

There used to be such a bot. I banned it because often it was the only comment on a post, making me believe that a person commented. But it shouldn't be too hard to write your own for whatever community you want.
Browser add-ons would be better suited for this.
Those uninterested don't get spammed and it'd work on all websites for those who want it.
