Me, several days ago: are they gonna do the "unsupported tanks in urban environments thing again?"
videos
Breadtube if it didn't suck.
Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.
Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.
There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.
A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.
They rightfully fear fighting directly. They do not appear to be good at gunfighting
IDF taking return fire: "I literally did not train for this!"
Wait do they actually not?
I'm sure they do but just making a joke about how most of the stuff they dealt with was rocks being thrown before the Hamas attack on Oct 7
Pretty neat vid, I like how the destruction is actually very obvious and visible.
A lot of other similar videos have vehicle kills where it's really hard to tell the aftermath, because either the explosion causes a lot of dust and smoke, making it hard to see, or it's some anti-tank weaponry penetrates, making damage hard to tell.
Are videos like this a new feature on Lemmy?
The way it embeds might be new.
I'm so confused, these things are supposed to have pretty good armor right? All the previous videos I've seen have the tanks left structurally pretty intact, while this one got completely blew apart
Fake video? Not the same RPGs as before? Not the same tanks as before?
I think it's an IFV rather than a main battle tank
You're totally right, damn I didn't realize these things got so big lol
From my limited understanding. Usually they aim for the lower part. The first explosion breaks the armor and the secondary charge detonates to kill the ~~people~~ monsters inside. I think this one hit the top at an angle and the second charge detonated on the outside the tank or possibly it was ammo in the tank cooking off.
looks like it hit the turret belt and cooked off the ammo in the breech. damn near perfect hit.
nice cope cage
