Look, she's going to say stuff. Isn't that good enough? Actual material change would be hard and the senate pastafarian won't allow it so it's the best she has.

The phrase also extends to liberals being against the earlier stages of an atrocity but being fine with the current stuff. See what they think about the ongoing invasion and subjugation of Iraq.

Did she really say that? Lmao after all these months of courting the right she goes and says this objectively correct thing that will nevertheless set them off?

Since the collapse of the CCCP, western politicians have far less of a pressure to actually be competent.

Ofc that's starting to change with the rise of China and the alternative polarity they're trying to build, which reveals how pathetic things have really gotten.

she's threading the needle like a qualified expert, and having won the NYT editorial board and their 200 electoral votes, she now has the election in the bag

She's playing both sides so she always comes out on top both-sides

“And it’s my turn to lead that empire”

She says this a week after 7/10? Subtext really is for cowards.

This shit genuinely pisses me off more than the conservative/average American of “colonization good, go manifest destiny, USA USA”

Like, this means you know better. And so it feels like you’re bragging and rubbing it in our faces. “Europeans brought devastation, violence and disease. So now it’s our turn to do that around the globe! Isn’t that cool!?”

libs will see this and go "see!? she understands!!!! she's not gonna be just like every old white guy who's controlling her campaign and entire career!"

"European explorers ushered in a wave of devastation, violence, stealing land, and widespread disease, and that's why we're celebrating it and following in their footsteps!"
