Unironically we should put all the posters in a seeded bracket and vote.

You know they say that all men are created equal, but you look at me and you look at DragonballZinn and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you go one on one with another fighter, you got a 50/50 chance of winning. But I'm a genetic freak, the Prince of all Saiyans and I'm not normal! So you got a 25%, AT BEST, at beat me. Then you add @GohanKerry to the mix, your chances of winning drastic go down. See the 3 way at the Tenkaichi tournament , you got a 33 1/3 chance of winning, but I, I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning, because @GohanKerry KNOWS they can't beat me and he's not even gonna try!

So DragonballZinn, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of winning at the tenkaichi. But then you take my 75% chance of winning, if we was to go one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, I got 141 2/3 chance of winning at the tenkaichi. See, the numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you.

In a lot of fiction, having some guy that used to be powerful get his ass kicked to demonstrate how dangerous a new threat is is an old and reliable trick.

They could at least apply the Worf effect equally. One could say the ending of the Heeter Arc is that in real time; but... lbr Tien Yamcha and Krillin all been catching those asswhoopings for the past 20 years

We laugh but this burnout has a 60 foot long statue in his name

[–] UlyssesT@hexbear.net 8 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

I don't know the context of that picture but it's amazing.

[–] vegeta1@hexbear.net 8 points 10 hours ago

Oh thats when Yamcha got pounded by my homegrown plant into dust. But you already knew that I just wanted to repeat it because its as funny as it sounds. Oh the statue is in Shanghai China

The real question is who would win the Hexbear Tenkaichi Budokai when all the power posters are off doing something else (a la Mr. Satan)

Okay, but who is the reverse werewolf?

[–] LaGG_3@hexbear.net 11 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 12 hours ago)

Probably one of our resident furry comrades

The early Dragon Ball tournament arcs were so great lol

[–] vegeta1@hexbear.net 12 points 11 hours ago

One of those is the macguffin everyone fights over, so no fighting. Instead one party will feel compelled to seek the other out, bring out their true form, and ask them to fufill their greatest wish. Its like you've never seen the show.

What is the Hexbear equivalent of Super Saiyan?

That is a person, not a form. Is it fluent emoji posting? Piss posting? I need to know for my training.

if we're talking about my posting the way, I guess the way I'd describe my personal touch is that I've naturally got a wide vocabulary and I think I'm pretty decent at emulating others' prose and tousling up my own style of prose to fit whatever the vibe is.

I can only speak a little on my own style as it's just what is natural to me–Objectively, I use a lot of em-dashes, but that's really just a me thing–I don't like using colons in place of where semicolons or commas may go: it feels too intangibly limiting in scope.

Subjectively, I think I use a lot of abruptness and attempts-to-overwhelm for my comedic style. A lot of times, there are a lot of little details I fixate on, i.e. flow and punctuation, either to be deliberate about it or make things read better. I am a bit of an obsessive editor, I tend to look a lot of my bits over many times and revise them sometimes even hours after sending them out.

Can't really say much else as that's a level of self-awareness about my writing I have not obtained. I wouldn't say I'm in the top leagues of the best-to-post on this site but I think I'm above-average mob-bashful

if it's emote fluency it's entirely because I'm the emote maintainer lea-finger-guns

It's arguing with libs and sending them pictures of a pig pooping on its balls. Never forget the roots of our power posting!

When your comments are more than 100 words long and you use a lot of big words.

[–] radio_free_asgarthr@hexbear.net 7 points 11 hours ago

Ah, so I need to learn to misuse large amounts of Hegelian jargon to become a higher form of leftist poster. It's so obvious now!
