I didn't know "precise" was in the IDF vocabulary.

As far as I can tell they have great aim, they just don't care who is in the building they precisely targeted.

How many capitals can Israel bomb in the space of a week? They must be running out of countries in range by now.

Israel is going for a domination victory? Don't they know razed capitals don't count.

You can't raze original capitals. (At least in Civ 5, not sure about others.)

Yeah but you can still bomb them down all the way to 1 pop

It'd be regional, for sure. I don't think Israel is going to pull the US into it, nor Iran pull Russia (mostly because they don't even have the power to fight a war on their own border). Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the rest are going to try to stay out of it as much as they can, but still contribute a little material support. I don't think it's going to be a global conflict.

It's the concept of a world war.

We're due.

As a species that got to be number 1, we have nothing left to express our dominating nature on except ourselves. You don't just evolve out of that in a couple hundred years—you gotta have a nature that is highly successful at doing what it does best deeply instilled. It seems every now and then we have to let it out. It's like masturbating to weird porn. We're ashamed after, say we'll never do it again, but over time the nature needs exercise.

It's just what we are. It's in our nature to kill each other if there's nothing left to dominate. We need it. The best you can do is reject it and try be a better person every day, and not hate yourself if that species number 1 nature comes out at times. Evolution is incredibly slow.

Edit: Sorry if no one wanted to hear that. And it's obviously a personal opinion.

I can't say it comes as a surprise but... so they did move forward with this.

I wonder how Iran will respond.

So I guess we're doing that this weekend.

Enough of a reason to stand against Israel yet Harris?

Enough of a reason to stand against Israel yet Harris?

Or Trump.

The region is not safe under either of them as long as their is bipartisan support for Israel.

The anti-war candidate wins this election.

[–] metaStatic@kbin.earth 6 points 4 hours ago (2 children)

sorry to burst your bubble but you only have 2 choices

The candidate that has won a majority of elections since I think forever:

Vances' ex-gf.

And when you ask:

Who is that?

I have to ask if you are serious about wanting to win this election. Because the constant battering that "voters have no choice" is literally losing this election for Harris. You can either address their criticisms, or recognize that you, when making this false dichotomy, you are part of the reason why Harris is losing.

This argument is so fucking tired, and such an obvious failure, I can't believe any one still making it is making it in good faith. Any one relying on this trope is either an idiot or a liar.
