What do you enjoy about it? I've never played a Final Fantasy game
The world of Vana'diel. I like that the game has a lot of lore and a good story to work your way through. It's perfectly newcomer friendly if you've never played a FF game before, as XI is mostly based on Everquest.

What you need to do: go to this tunnel (unmarked, never mentioned) turn around 15 times (never mentioned) run back and talk to this guy (never mentioned) keep talking to him even though the conversation ended (never mentioned) to back to tunnel (can you guess, also never mentioned?) click random spot on the ground. (No quest markers because this was from before that time in gaming)
I loved 11 but man I'd never have gotten far without guides or forums lol
