I'm reminded of when senators, people who are supposed to act professional, were repeatedly asking the TikTok ceo if he was Chinese and the guy had to repeatedly tell them he's Singaporean.

Not to be annoying, but Singaporean is not an ethnicity but a nationality, the main ethnicities that makes up Singapore are Chinese, Indian and Malays. Not that the racist in question cared about any of these
