A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

Everyone always talks about that episode, but no one ever talks about the stupid and boring other episode he's in for some reason!

The John Lithgow version is better. Partly because it's better produced, but also because Shatner... Well... He shatners the shock of it all.

I first saw Morena Baccarin on Firefly, with the detailed costuming and saucy retorts, and it was a strong first-impression.

Of course there are, and they're very rude.

Yes. I have a buddy who is this person. I'm not kidding.

He is a big Star Trek fan, but he is also literally the only T.J. Hooker fan that I've ever met, and he was a T.J. Hooker fan before he was a Star Trek fan. (It's worth noting we're both in our late 40s.)

Coming across this randomly on a Wednesday evening renews my faith in The Internet. I was starting to think the whole thing was a bad idea. Thank you!

I remember as a kid growing up in Canada, he was always on TV doing commercials for supermarkets. More recently, he was the spokesman for All Bran, and then he was selling CPAP machines I think? No wait, I think it was some sort of machine that cleans CPAPs.

Is that the same William Shatner of Rescue 911 fame?
