This is not really a missile, but a missile-drone. It's kind of a new type of weapon. The stats are confidential, but allegedly it has a range of up to 700km.
The "missile-drone" is powered by a jet engine, ~~which is probably the reason it's not technically a missile.~~

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palianytsia_(missile)

The word palianytsia (a hearth-baked bread) is a shibboleth that has been used to unmask foreign agents in Ukraine's armed forces, who are usually unable to pronounce the word correctly.

Congratulations to Ukraine for managing to make this weapon, I hope it will be very effective.

cruise missiles are jet powered, but this one is not named so for political reasons ("if Ukrainians have their own cruise missiles, why do we need to give them ours")

With the advancement of tech the lines between a drone, a loiter ammunition, and a classic missile is really blurred

naming depends on your budget

That is a pretty big deal. Cruise missiles have always been in short supply from the West. From what I understand, these Palianysias are pretty capable.

It's so much more effective to hit a factory than hit each individual product it produced as they are being used against you.

I misread that as Palestinian Missiles and for a split second thought "wow, now that's a bold move" before doing a double take and a chuckle
