Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.

A tumblrized reference to an ancient reddit in-joke. How quaint.
Honestly kind of a bittersweet thing to see, it makes me think of all the good things we left behind. But then again, we did bring the best parts with us. Star Trek, Linux, and beans are all a Lemmizen needs.
Wasn't shittymorph one of the ones who came here with the exodus?
They're still posting on reddit. So either they never went or they came here, seen the state of the platform and promptly left.

We're honestly better off without them. Power users and power mods kinda ruined Reddit.

What is a power user on Reddit?
Someone like Gallowboob. They just post an endless stream of low quality drivel and eventually turn into ad machines and push specific narratives and propaganda. We're much better off without them.

Beans is referencing the period where bean memes were the popular meme. There wasn't a reason (that I could see), people just posted bean memes for a while.
That was annoying.

It's a reference to a reddit user (https://www.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/comments/1gnxkgd/comment/lweabef/) who would post these intricate comments with these really engaging stories that would then end with that last paragraph, which describes the events of a 1998 wrestling show where the wrestler The Undertaker threw the wrestler Mankind (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mankind_vs._The_Undertaker) and the type of wrestling match (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell_in_a_Cell ).
The user was contributing to the discussion and shitposting at the same time. It was glorious.
