Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

This is a bizarre video. Worth watching.

How is it the assassination of a CEO what gets these people interested in the lived of prisoners?

Reality fights back against AI.

this is interesting as hell, why do these random inmates have solidarity with Luigi?

[–] Alaskaball@hexbear.net 56 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Because prisoners are people too.

I've had a few friends locked up, they said it was mostly just boring. Its not like those MSNBC shows where you get SA'd at the door. The other inmates are essentially your neighbors for years, its in everyone's best interest to be somewhat chill.

I got cheered on by my inmates when I got out and encouraged me to get my life together.

There are some good people there who made a mistake.

i paid the remaining restitution of a guy in jail so he could get out 2 weeks earlier.. never heard from him again but his nephew felt tremendous guilt about sexing my girlfriend after what I did for his uncle and told me

Because they probably have a lot more negative experiences with debt than even the average american does.

They don't understand how problematic he is and they haven't done self-crit.

Love seeing the overwhelmingly positive comments.

We need more reporters interviewing inmates about conditions.
