I miss him dearly. Not a day goes by that I don't look for him in his favorite spots or during our morning and night time rituals of feeding him and giving him pets. Wolfie (Mr. Softie) was the sweetest soul on earth, the most gentle and timid cat ever and I was truly blessed to let him be part of my life.

I love you my little guy and I miss you so much.

It sucks, but this is at least a way I can honor him and share his memory with y'all because you loved when I'd post his pictures.

You got me reflecting on losing an animal this time last year. There’s something about not having a shared language that makes the rough times so much harder. You can’t tell them why bad things are happening or why you are making them take a pill or why they have to go back to the scary place again (vet). But during the gentle times, when you and your pet can understand each other despite no shared language it’s a really unique and special thing. Every pet and human will develop their own non verbal language over a life time together. My surviving cat just started understanding that we are helping her when we clip her claws. She now rolls over and lets it happen and looks up appreciatively. In the past she would resist it and be mad at us

Yeah it's amazing how animals can understand and and vice versa, you build up a rapport with your pet and you two can pretty much just feel each other out. They're such special creatures.

His fuzz looks like it must've been unbelievably soft. So warm looking.

Sorry he's gone comrade but thanks for sharing him with us.

You should have seen him when he was young he was just a lil' puff ball. I loved smooching on his fur because it was so soft and thanks.

I'm so so sorry to hear that Mr. Softie passed, from the way you've always talked about him it was always very obvious how much love there was between the two of you.

What a beautiful boy. So sorry for your loss - I have a nebelung myself, I love her to pieces. They’re such magical beasts - in looks, and personality. Thank you for sharing Wolfie with us comrade. meow-hug

Hope you don’t me sharing, but here’s my girl Rosie. She’s the chattiest (and neurotic) cat I’ve ever met:

nebelung

For the longest time I didn't know what cat breed he was, I just assumed a long hair, but now I know TIL and thank you! And Rosie is so beautiful she looks so inquisitive in that pic.

<3 - she’s soooo inquisitive in general, and always getting into things she shouldn’t - one of her nicknames is Nosy Rosie

I love it that's a wonderful nickname.
