Chat is a text only community for casual conversation, please keep shitposting to the absolute minimum. This is intended to be a separate space from c/chapotraphouse or the daily megathread. Chat does this by being a long-form community where topics will remain from day to day unlike the megathread, and it is distinct from c/chapotraphouse in that we ask you to engage in this community in a genuine way. Please keep shitposting, bits, and irony to a minimum.

As with all communities posts need to abide by the code of conduct, additionally moderators will remove any posts or comments deemed to be inappropriate.

Thank you and happy chatting!

I do this to delude myself into thinking that I’m an hour ahead and to mostly cope with the early sunset, so the sun is setting at 5 instead of 4. I get that this is a rather extreme way to cope but I wonder if I’m the only one who does this

The really delusional thing is the DST switch moving the clock an hour back for winter

Is everyone around you cool with you showing up an hour late to everything?

Not working atm so fine on that front, but for example, if a store closes at 10pm, in my head, it closes at 11pm my time. Same way say a meeting is scheduled for 3pm, in my head it would be 4

I'm the opposite. I change the time during the summer (and spring and parts of autumn). Clock noon will be the same as solar noon.
