I hope they start working on the economy rebalance. It is long overdue.

Still waiting on a working 'forgetting the second half of the sentence' fix.

No doubt there will be a swing in the wrong direction for the aggression attribute at the cost of compassion.

Why does the "depression" debuff still exist?

😖

Literally. Unplayable.

[–] slazer2au@lemmy.world 13 points 3 days ago

Yea, the whole mental health system need a rework too.

[–] bfg9k@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

I feel like it's bugged, my character keep doing everything normally but it keeps coming back

[–] Susaga@sh.itjust.works 34 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Can we PLEASE fix the karma system? There's a massive bug where being racist helps you win elections.

[–] slazer2au@lemmy.world 10 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Tbh, that seems more of a player issue rather then a systems issue.

[–] Rednax@lemmy.world 2 points 20 hours ago

Can't really blame them if the meta favors a low int build.

[–] Sterile_Technique@lemmy.world 24 points 3 days ago

Luigi.exe isn't repeating the way it's supposed to.

[–] WindyRebel@lemmy.world 9 points 3 days ago

This is just a re-release of v2016. All the same bugs, but the shitty port makes things crash more.

[–] swordgeek@lemmy.ca 25 points 3 days ago (3 children)

I'd like to see someone finally fix the 'capitalism' race condition.

[–] kayazere@feddit.nl 6 points 3 days ago

Capitalism is more like a program causing resource exhaustion.

Typically new hardware is released at regular intervals so the poorly coded software can continue to function without bringing down the system, rather than addressing the root problem of always trying to grow the software.

The things is with the earth we don’t ever get any new hardware.

[–] stoy@lemmy.zip 6 points 3 days ago (1 children)

I don't think it should be removed completely, but rather heavily debuffed.

[–] Deceptichum@quokk.au 6 points 3 days ago

It was a terrible addition that has added no benefit we couldn’t have derived without it.

Maybe we can focus on fixing the 'human' race condition, too?

[–] 01189998819991197253@infosec.pub 15 points 3 days ago (1 children)

At this point, just turn it off and back on again.

[–] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 8 points 3 days ago (1 children)

The reboot time is a bitch, and the hardware may not power back up correctly. The firmware is unstable, and you might just brick the whole thing. Might just end up with a pretty paperweight.

[–] 01189998819991197253@infosec.pub 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Might be better than what we have now, no? At least a paperweight has a function.

[–] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 6 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Dispensing with the metaphor… a failed reboot either means no humans, which some might argue is just fine; or a situation where we wind up back in the stone age because if everything really collapses then all surface minerals are tapped out and we can’t build machines to reach the deep minerals because we don’t have the minerals to build the machines.

[–] 01189998819991197253@infosec.pub 1 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Either option would be good for earth, as a whole, but bad to really for humanity.

Yep. We’re gonna find out.

[–] Lemminary@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

I don't know about the human race, but I do want separate holes for eating and breathing. Can we get an intern in on that?

[–] MrJameGumb@lemmy.world 13 points 3 days ago (2 children)

I hear there's a big "thoughts and prayers" update coming up soon that's supposed to improve EVERYTHING, but I still can't tell exactly how it's meant to accomplish that

[–] JohnnyCanuck@lemmy.ca 7 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Are you talking about the Rapture expansion? Pretty sure that's just a myth perpetuated by some fanboys.

[–] kibiz0r@midwest.social 6 points 3 days ago

Yeah, it’s like “Half-Life 3 Confirmed”

They haven’t worked on that content in like 2000 years, Idk if anyone even knows how to work with that part of the codebase anymore

[–] slazer2au@lemmy.world 9 points 3 days ago

May lower the activation barrier. Surely something will happen if enough people think it. Like a gathering of Ork from 40K

[–] over_clox@lemmy.world 8 points 3 days ago

The right to privacy and the right to repair my own stuff. At the current pace, that seems like a daydream version of a nightmare.. ☹️

[–] kibiz0r@midwest.social 5 points 3 days ago

They have to fix the metagame around the Patriarchy skill tree.

It was an interesting idea to have a build centered around mild debuffs to yourself and worse debuffs to those around you, but at this point it’s just a race to the bottom and it’s ruined the balance of everything else as a result.

[–] M137@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

It's surely more like v302024, our species is 300,000 years old. Nothing began 2024 years ago other than the currently most used Gregorian calendar. But there are several other calendars used even now.

[–] Strobelt@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

Not even the calendar. It was invented in 1582 by the pope and just kept the same BC/AD structure the Julian calendar used. Which was also something created around year 500.

[–] Limonene@lemmy.world 6 points 3 days ago

Does this version include the Anthropocene Extinction pack? If not, I'll continue hoping it gets canceled.

[–] Blackout@fedia.io 6 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Kinda hoping for the re-releaae of the v1793 French Revolution. The cash in our current version has gotten so big everything is bugging out.

[–] slazer2au@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

I am wondering when they overflow the integer and it resets to either 0 or a negative number.
