i've put in my phone # with the right country code, put in the confirmation but it pops up with an error message in mandarin that i can't read cause i'm dumb ๐Ÿ˜ญ

if the "main" rule is still in effect that's what this sentence is for

I got in, but yes, it took me several tries. Make sure the country code is correct.

Also, my Google Voice number did not work. Had to be my main mobile device number.

It worked for me when I tried it at like 2am. Normal "awake" times in North America are going to be slammed right now with people fleeing TikTok.

oh! the code timeout is really short like only 60s and you don't see the countdown on every spot i think.

On my phone if i screen shot and open images it will translate UI elements, maybe that will work for you?
