Out of Context Comics

Comic panels taken out of comics so we can make fun of them!! We love the golden age stuff!

Rules:

  1. Comics must come from actual comic books. No AI or Photoshops.

  2. Single panels are preferred.

  3. Comics should be unintentionally funny. Spider-man cracking wise is not what this is about.

  4. Don't be a dick.

  5. I can't believe I've had to add this... NO RACISM.

I'd recognize those chins anywhere! This is from Jungle Comics #004. Fletcher Hanks has a very distinctive style, now that I've read his stuff due to this community, I can spot it a mile away.

If you give an ape the brain of a man, he will immediately eat it. ๐Ÿง  ๐Ÿฆ

I was ready to dispute this, but I went out back and tried it--you're dead on. Go scientific method!

Lab report or it didn't happen.

"If You Give an Ape a Brain" was the original title of "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie."

"Amazing! But... why must it be administered as an enema?"

Oh, it doesn't have to. It just is.

In Crichton's "Next" they did it so they could have a worker they could more easily exploit.

My only problem with out of context comics is that I do want to know the context, often it's just as batshit...

anyway this if from jungle comics #4: Mystery of the Jungle Woman: Fantomah
