"Occasional Federation Issues" sounds like the name of a post-wave Romulan funk band.

Note: This is not bashing the admins or anything at all, or at least not remotely intended to do so. Just making a funny about federation issues. They happen, I'm not too worried. Rather these problems than deal with the 'other site'.

startrek.website should call its mods Admirals so we can blame them whenever anything goes wrong 😁

Oh god. Promoted for an hour and already planning galactic domination.

Perfectly sliding into the role already!

If you're going to have delusions, you might as well go for the really satisfying ones.

Just be careful you don't get exploded in your evil chair by sustained phaser fire

Wasn't that a Commander and not an Admiral?

[–] Stamets@lemmy.world 1 points 11 months ago

Lieutenant Commander but the joke still works lol

What every Starfleet Admiral aspires to be:

[–] GreenMario@lemm.ee 8 points 11 months ago

Why is the instance down?

THAT'S A STUPID QUESTION.

[–] teft@startrek.website 22 points 11 months ago (1 children)

They put it on the poster?!

That legit brought a tear to my eye. She’s the best.

[–] Stamets@startrek.website 12 points 11 months ago

Completely agreed. Actually felt the urge to rewatch that scene after seeing your comment. I caved. Rebecca Romijn is a brilliant actress to begin with but those small things are what made me fall in love with her. Every defense drops. She goes from the calm, cool, collected, confident and frankly sexy Number One that we know to a little kid who just saw snow for the first time.

God I love her. And all of the casting for Strange New Worlds.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I WANNA REWATCH IT NOW GODDAMMIT

Just ignore me talking to myself in the corner. Testing some federation stuff. Carry on.

Looks like it's pretty much done although it is showing posts on my account that I deleted yesterday.

The crossover episode has to be one of my favorites of all time, and the "its on the poster" reveal was such an amazing emotional icing on the cake

"Riker" got me lol

And Section 31 power walk.

[–] jawa21@lemmy.sdf.org 3 points 11 months ago

Nah, that is OG Romulan punk.

When you think about it, the vast majority of serious problems shown in the Star Trek universe can be classified as “Hardship: Spacebreaker”

[–] Stamets@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

You ain't wrong.

Also that's a fantastic game.

[–] PsychedSy@sh.itjust.works 1 points 11 months ago

Did Kansas conquer the world in that universe?
