I would not be shocked if they do that or something like send infiltrators to protests to do crimes against Jews nearby, then hit the whole group (minus the instigator of course) with hate crime charges.
They are terrified of ending up going the way of South African apartheid which was driven by college groups and they are going to get as dirty as they can to disrupt and prevent this, to clamp down, to put an end to this.
