Damnit, now I want to play Kerbal Space Program again.

Have you been following Kitten Space Agency? I so badly want it to be what KSP2 could/should have been.

If it’s a real thing, it’s not on Steam.

It is not on Steam; lead developer is apparently adamantly against the Steam monopoly and 30% cut. They literally proposed distributing via torrents and discord.

What does steam have a monopoly on?

It's a little ironic that they reject steam and yet the primary way to get information is the most closed down platform out there, which has more closely (though not technically) monopolized real time chat.

Hard pass from me if I have to join your club to even learn about the game

I found the developers, they have developed other games that are on steam (and their site links directly to the steam listing), weird that they haven't pulled those.

I haven't, but I'll definitely check it out!

Great, now we’ve started to litter on the moon. Thanks capitalism.

Pretty sure this was a scientific mission contracted by NASA

That's gotta suck, crashing your moon lander less than a week after another company nailed their landing.
