if i knew what this show was I would be very disappointed
It's about a chain of luxury hotel resorts. Season one is a murder mystery involving a bunch of bourgeois ghouls while the hotel staff tries to navigate the situation. IDK what season 2 or 3 are about because I got bored halfway through the season 2 premiere and gave up on the series.
Fucking bullshit it got the award for best supporting actress over Rhea Seehorn in Better Call Saul.
Kim Drexler in Waterworks deserved it honestly.
I thought the first season was pretty legit so I am pretty surprised by this
this guy sounds dumb as fuck and hes acting like hes saying something profound
lame that he came out and said this bc if he'd just kept his mouth shut the scene could have been read as a justified dunk on the old white guys that move to thailand to be sex pests. but he just had to be a transphobe
I just read it like "I beat Thailand. The end guy is hard" until just now. Ugh. Still don't know if this will keep me from watching the finale.
guess I was giving Mike White too much benefit of the doubt in thinking that scene was just irresponsible and not intentionally transphobic. it's honestly hard to understand his intent because he cannot string a sentence together and sounds like a dipshit trying to explain anything, but going on Sullivan's pod is damning enough.
btw there was also a line in season 2 where a character is talking about how she likes a guy and says "and he's not non-binary!" and recently it came out that there was supposed to be a scene this season where a character talks about having a non-binary child but it was cut after Trump got elected...

The only thing I knew about this show was Jennifer Coolidge saying "the gayss are to murder me" but it seemed for a very lib yaskween audience.
Damn, I figured there was gonna be some trans stuff when they said it was in Thailand. Sucks that his brain is fried. I liked season 1 and 2
