Yes
i like everything they've put out even the old stuff where half the song is just loud screeching feedback. All time favourite band i think
It's been a few years since I've hit Satie. I used to fall asleep to gymnopedie all the time but since I've grown sensitive to sounds that are in my control to turn off/on, I haven't listened him or anything else.

Emerging from my long slumber to share this with you, @Alaskaball@hexbear.net.

The fruit trees are flowering. It’s a sea of blossoms down here.
Funkadelic, bro! Really nailed the vibe!
I’ve spent some listless evenings laying on the floor listening to that track on repeat.
Well it's gonna definitely be a recurring theme in my life now, thanks for sharing it!
Ambient 1: Music for Airports by Brian Eno
Mother Earth's Plantasia by Mort Garson
Really wished airport's played that kind of music. Except when I'm getting fucked with by TSA.

I Iike to listen to the Stellaris OST when in mode
Secrets for those who misbehave
Also my go-to tripping album is Crack the Skye by Mastadon but it's not as light fare as the OST
I forgot how space opera-y vibes Stellaris' ost had. It almost gives me flashbacks to when I played mass effect 2

Shame the snows mostly gone, I feel like this would be great to listen to at exactly 5:27 am in a quiet snow covered park with the horizon dimly lit an ambient gold glow from the incandescent lights with flickers of fluffy snow fluttering through the bloom of the gloom.
aww, totally. i have a core memory listening to this song on a walk outside at like 3am in some of the denset fog i've ever seen - like some real silent hill shit. it's music for a quiet darkness, which i guess is how i spend a lot of my time.
there's something i find so relaxing and haunting about it. in my personal headcanon, i think about whether the melody plays on in spite of the noise, refusing to let the dissonant and abrasive noise take over (as if it really were "incurably optimistic"), or whether the melody gives in to the noise, that it (i.e., the optimism) gave out or was inevitably crushed. maybe that's how i feel about life. idk.

Tor Lundvall's ghost ambient work seems like it might fit. Sleeping and Hiding is one of his best albums in the genre, though Ice and The Mist are very good too (the song "29" on the latter being an all time favorite). He has a christmas concept album that's about solitude and isolation with the lights and the music off in the far distance. Its called Yule, and it's perfect. God I love his voice.
He also does synthpop.

Gnome - Father of Time
Joe Wong - Dreams Wash Away (or basically any of his music from Midnight Gospel)
I built a 200+ song playlist of all of the music from Off the Air on Adult Swim, and it's what I put on when I don't need to listen to lyrics. Unfortunately, it's only on Spotify.
The album Metempsychosis by hubris. is great for this and all of the songs (instrumental) on the album are great, there's only one ~2 minute part of the whole album I don't like. Their album Apocryphal Gravity is also good for this kind of thing.
