I'm troubled by the power of foriegn owned print news. What do you think of the idea that any foriegn owned newspapers must be printed on tinted newsprint (pale blue if vetted and pale yellow if not) and websites available in Canada must display a banner on every page indicating ownership?

The intended meaning is too easily subverted. Just ban or tax them out of existence on Canadian soil. Nothing says outsider like having to dispatch your propaganda from the outside.

Yes I've been saying something like this for years is needed.

How are you supposed to trust the Toronto Sun, the National Post or the Ottawa Citizen when they're owned entirely by U.S. media moguls? Whose best interest are these papers looking out for? Not Canadians thats for sure.
