God, work makes creative endeavors so difficult. I’m burnt out after work, and so busy on the weekends I never have the time. To go back to the days of playing all day, learning new theory, writing songs with friends…

Legitimately this is part of why I like being a scientist instead of doing some garbage office work

My work kinda does define me but I like the definition. Being categorized as “a biologist” suits me just fine

if i didnt go to college id probably be a chef, not sure how safe the industry is around being trans tho

If you worked with me you'd be good my sous chef is very vocally supportive and would probably murder someone for being transphobic

Thought I could "just do a job" when I graduated highschool. Now I'm on the path for an actually fulfilling career with all the road bumps that comes with such a thing.
