My wife likes watching America's Got Talent with all their highlight reels and it got me to thinking, there's a business out there making a ton of money from parents allowing their children to perform for free.

Hiring someone means that they have certain rights, but also certain obligations. The latter is the reason society doesn't allow it.

Jackie Coogan was a famous kid actor back in the day. His parents spent all his earnings and he fought to get this law passed
