If you know about the Tree-star, it's time to have a doctor check out your B-star.

I had my first DRE a few months ago. It felt like the Dr thought my butthole was a dog's mouth with a piece of chocolate in it.

It’s the instrument they use to check for polyps

[–] neatobuilds 4 points 1 month ago

Stay away from my lucky polyps

It’s too late for me. I recognise the image but can’t remember any context about it. Guess dementia ain’t that far

Grandpa, you just killed 4 people while you made this comment. Keep your eyes on the road!

pretty good, I eat lots of fiber

[–] Tugboater203@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

Jokes on you, I already had mine

[–] navi@lemmy.tespia.org 5 points 1 month ago

Can I at least eat delicious star leaves before the procedure?

[–] javiwhite@feddit.uk 4 points 1 month ago

Had my first on Monday.

The procedure itself is fine (had mine with sedation, so didn't even notice). But that bowel prep... That stuff is nothing short of traumatising.

Land before time was an absolute banger growing up too.

Those leaves always looked so damn good.

I am not that old, and I remeber watching that movie as a kid :3

[–] wheeldawg@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Yes, but did you watch it when it was new? Or (in my case) when the VHS was new?

I dont think so, but it also wasnt too old when I first watched it.

[–] nobody158@r.nf 1 points 1 month ago

About time for a second one...

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

You can look up my rectum if you can find it

No really, it's in a traveling museum exhibit somewhere

[–] Fabian@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 month ago

But I am not that old

Reminder that routine colonoscopies are a bit of a scam. Unless preceded by targeted tests or symptoms they're extremely unlikely to pick up anything more than incidental polyps, and this is at the expense of your dignity, time, and money.
