I automated making and uploading these videos which is half the fun. Now I just press a button to start recording, press a button to stop, a couple of scripts do the rest :)

I try to share info here with the Lemmy Starcraft community as Blizzard has been making changes that make the game run worse. I wrote a couple scripts for previewing and opening replays that I'm going to share as soon as they're complete and user-friendly.

Try following around the linux tag on twitch. I've found plenty of people who game or do software development on Linux that way.

Check out the owncast communities instead. Self hosted federated streaming, mostly us Linux nerds

I suppose it's not a big thing as the os a game is played on doesn't have much impact on the gameplay itself. Balatro on Linux is the same game as on windows, switch or mobile. Hell, even pewdiepie is on Linux now so I guess his videos could fit your criteria

If you're looking for a wide range of games tested, NizVicious. FreddysGamingBenchmark focuses on the steam deck. EtaPrime usually test all his builds in linux at some point but it's mostly the same games as he's a hardware channel (newer titles get added though).

Most games out there are normally played fullscreen, and they are going to be indistinguishable on Linux and Windows.

I could maybe understand a YouTube channel focusing on game troubleshooting or something like that, where the platforms would differ. Maybe for tweaking an environment for performance or something. But for gameplay itself...I mean, there's just no difference.

Plenty of streamers game on Linux you'll just rarely/never see it because it's all hidden behind the scenes and many keep their stream pretty clean from any technical stuff. Which is fine... but if you can't tell the difference from Windows then what's the point of even caring whether the streamer is using Linux or Windows or Mac or whatever else.

For Linux gaming content, I do like A1RM4X but he doesn't really stream live gameplay often if at all except to demonstrate certain features. He's mainly focused on showing off all different kinds of gaming tech in Linux, and it's very informative, he's got a thick accent though if that's a problem for you.

Honest queston, not intended as a criticism: what content are you specifically looking for as you specfically mention a Linux gaming channel? Optimization guides or simply reviews / walkthroughs of Linux based games?
