I would do the same. Who needs more than one escort for a coward? Now a man with drive, direction, and will needs a full retinue.
Look, I just want you to know:
I think socialism is an awful system and will lead to untold suffering and pain. It is rationally an awful decision.
But I can also absolutely understand every single US-American living through this shit wanting radical change. I am aware I am writing this from a privileged Position from the Heart of Europe and my View would probably be different if I was living through the same shit as you.
I still think you should settle in the middle for social democracy, maybe something a bit more left of it, but I can understand if you get emotional and take radical decisions.
The trick there is that your initial demand has to be more extreme than what you want. This both anchors the Overton window, and allows you room for concessions. So, in effect, if you want socdems, but you competition are technofeudalists, you need to go as far left as possible and then compromise to meet them in the middle.
It is rationally an awful decision.
LOL, that must be why the more socialist nations are so terribly unhappy, like Finland, Sweden, and Norway.
