Context: Infinity Nikki is a gacha game that had a shit ass update for its last patch. The update was very buggy on account of them trying to push too many things into the game at once for the steam release, among other things. Due to this, they announced that the current version would be extended.

Its the first time a more known gacha did this, no? Bc hoyo never did that on global servers (obviously idk abt CN servers), Kuro games also didn't do it on global, and the mobile CN gachas i play(ed) also never did this in global.

Nope! Genshin also used to this (I remember it happening around the same time a few years back) but it seems they don’t do it anymore.

This NEVER happened. Or at least I couldn't find anything about it happening. And this is the kind of thing that gamers would make a big deal about so.
