Remastered?! Didn't this game just release? Why is there already a remastered edition? Video game graphics haven't advanced that much in the past few years, have they?

Someone else tweeted that they supposedly had a smaller team of newer employees work on this to get them familiar with the engine so that when TLoU3 goes into higher gear they have more employees trained and ready to execute.

And I think the new survival mode is meant to appeal to people who will now have to wait longer for the multiplayer. So for most it'll be $10 for survival mode, director commentary, lost levels, and higher res and frames

I wish Naughty Dog would make something other than Uncharted and Last of Us titles. Last time they had a new IP was the PS3.

I think they have a Sci-Fi game which is a new IP in their pipeline

That actually sounds like a good way to get new employees up to speed and give them some familiarity with the IP.

It's hard to remember, but tlou2 was a ps4 game. So it is targeting a decade old piece of hardware. A ps5 is much newer.

And good news for existing owners of The Last of Us Part II on PlayStation 4! You will be able to upgrade to a digital version of The Last of Us Part II Remastered for $10 USD at launch. You’ll also be able to import your saves from the original game to Part II Remastered.

So $10 for directors commentary, lost levels, survival mode, and other enhancements. I've beaten the game already but I might upgrade anyway for the commentary and lost levels

Keep milking that cow.

Can't be bothered with multiplayer though, if seems.
